OffTopic Video blogs
Video blogs, or vlogs, have become a popular way to share your ideas or opinions on a topic with your audience. Unlike traditional blogs, where only text and photographs are used, a video blog transforms your content into an audio-visual product. I have to make one but I haven't done it before, so here's what I've researched and learned, in addition I'll share the following tips for your videoblog:
-Choose a theme
-Record a video
-Edit the video
-Choose a platform
-Describe your videos
Choose a theme
To start with, you will need to choose a topic for your video blog. It can be anything, as long as it is not boring, offensive or illegal. And, as there are many successful videoblogs, there are also many video formats that can inspire you, such as tutorials, lessons, interviews and many more.
Recording a video
You can do it with a video camera or a webcam, you can show yourself to connect with your audience or you can either put your face or just show with text or your voice what you want to share, you can record separately the screen and the video from the camera or you can do it with a program that allows you to do both at the same time like zoom, which is the one I used to make my first video blog.
Edit a video
After recording your video, you will need to do some post-production to make it more presentable. You should choose a video editing programme that suits your needs, either a simple programme or a professional one. Then, you can add titles, subtitles, transitions effects, adjust the speed of the images, and many other things, you can use Windows Movie Maker or Wondershare Video Editor which is the one I used.
